There was a time when seeing the latest movies meant a guaranteed trip to the cinemas, however with streaming, home cinemas and downloading gaining popularity, the movies is no longer the only choice. Village Cinemas appointed us to develop a brand strategy that delved into and reminded movie fans why the trip to Village Cinemas is so much more than just the film.

Using our Brandscope methodology, we developed a strategy that focused on connection, sharing and enjoyment. The ‘Where Movies Mean More’ brand celebrates those little moments that become great memories: a child’s first movie, first dates, a girl’s night out. The way the cinema facilitates these experiences is endless. 

Creative developed for campaigns included more than 10 TVCs spanning brand and gifting messages for a variety of special occasions. Each creative outcome is crafted for individual touch-points on the customer journey both physical and digital. Warm, connective and a little nostalgic, the brand truly reflects their position as the place where movies mean more.
