For the last five years, Australian Made Week has been an important time for our makers and manufacturers. It’s the week that encourages Australians everywhere to hunt out the green and gold kangaroo logo and buy products that are made right here.

The Australian Made team had secured one of Australia’s favourite comedians, Andy Lee as their ambassador. It was our job to create a campaign that let Andy help spread the word about the importance of Australian Made Week. And left room for him to have some fun doing it.

We leaned into what makes Andy special: smart, sharp humour and unmatched enthusiastic energy. He became Australian Made Week’s biggest fan. It’s Andy, but with Australia’s love of local products turned up to 11. Then we made a mockumentary about it and let Andy tell the story in his own special way. We even twisted the headline to make sure it was all about Andy.

A giant, oversize chair made of actual Australian Made products gave us the perfect place to put our number one fan, customer tracksuit and all. It also serves as a bright reminder of all the great products made right here.

The campaign was run across TV, BVOD, OOH, digital and radio. It reflects the reinvigorated energy the brand is enjoying with Made Right Here, and is a playful, engaging reminder of why buying Australian Made is so important.
