Wayne’s experience spans three decades and multiple disciplines across brand, advertising and communication design. A traditionally trained graphic designer with a passion for problem solving and business, Wayne founded Hive in 1995 and now spearheads our strategic efforts with an emphasis on empathy and clarity of purpose. Away from the office Wayne enjoys family life (and the odd round of golf) on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Rebecca came to HIVE with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a brain overflowing with ideas.
With marketing experience in construction, education and the real estate arena, a passion for health and a habit for travelling far and wide, Rebecca’s finger is constantly on the pulse and is our go-to lady for the latest digital trends.
When she’s not cooking up a storm, Bec is throwing uppercuts at the boxing club or keeping her golden lab Barnaby from chewing all her possessions.
Caino (no-one at Hive calls him Michael) leads our creative team with over 17 years of communications and design experience accumulated across many different industries. From toy design to advertising and everything in between, Caino has thrived in solving varied visual and communicative problems for many leading brands and their customers.
Michelle is our administration, accounts and GST Whiz. Her rigour and attention to detail ensures that our numbers add up and the tax man is happy.
Her left brain also perfectly compliments the creative energy in the studio and keeps everything running smoothly.
Nick brings a quarter century worth of experience within agencies across Australia. With a keen eye for detail and a great sense of humour, Nick utilizes his wealth of experience to take care of all of the internal stuff at Hive, so the rest of the team can get on with doing what they love to do the most – great work for our clients.
With decades of experience retouching and manipulating images for some of Australia’s largest brands, there isn’t much Alex hasn’t seen. Whenever we need to add, polish or edit an image or video, Alex is our expert. Our Alexpert haha!
With a non-conventional career path, Zach’s experience spans retail, airline and most recently, in the production and creative arena.
Zach approaches all projects with high energy and pizzazz and is sure to leave the client having had a great experience.
On the weekends Zach can be found singing to audiences consisting of zero people, because he is a terrible singer.
Responsible for warm greetings, happy faces and clean floors. Barnaby lives for lunchtime and long walks on the beach.
Experienced across design, animation, illustration and digital design, Shan is uniquely adaptable in her creative approach. Able to effortlessly transition ideas from print to motion to web, she provides clients with a uniquely complete approach to their projects.
Aside from her unique aptitude for niche and general knowledge on the weekly quiz, Amelia brings a considered and crafted approach to our studio. Amelia’s thoughtful approach to balance, structure and flow have helped shape beautiful and modern brands including Phoenix, Roc’s Social and Sustainability Victoria.
A strong conceptual thinker with a passion for branding, Caitlin brings energy and a fresh perspective to every project at Hive. Caitlin’s a keen collaborator with an appetite for innovation, and is always striving for original solutions to creative problems.
When not at work, Caitlin loves reading cheesy romance novels and travelling the world.
With a degree in Media and Communication and just shy of a decade marketing experience, Edwina brings a wealth of strategic marketing nous to the account service team. After work you'll find her feeding her cats Obi & Muffin too many treats, and on the weekends she loves to escape Melbourne on a camping trip.
